Now, you must have figured out or will soon enough; I’m not all about running. So I thought I would take an opportunity once a week to touch on some running and non-running articles, life style pieces and such.
I made my weekly running goal! Plus my 5k mud run gave me a few bonus miles I needed from the week I fell short! 10 of 11 weeks now. 💪And…drum roll please…I made 250 this week. 25% through my goal
A new musician I’ve been listening to this week: NF
Check him out here. I’d love to hear what you think.
Day #15 of my personal April challenge. Still going strong. After yesterday’s mud run I’m glad it’s Sunday and my long stretching session! My workouts come from fitnessblender.com. Click here to check it out. A post coming soon on all my ❤ for this free website.
SEAMARK MUDDER 2018. Yesterday was RACE DAY! I had soooo much fun on the mud run. Wading through lakes with spiders and frogs (have I mentioned I’m not a fan of either!), almost losing shoes, climbing walls and crawling through mud and more. I’ll be nursing a few bruises and maybe a slightly bruised ego after face planting (yes, literally) coming off a slide! I may be looking for my next mud run soon!
More than a Home, a Family
Seamark Ranch has transcended the group home environment and has developed a healthy family culture. Boys’ and Girls’ homes are structured as a two-parent setting where the children receive the love, nurture, discipline and consistency every child deserves. Each family works, plays and attends church together, just like a ‘traditional’ family. Not only do the children feel safe, they also feel they have a family where they “belong”; some for the very first time. In the confines of their family they are developing healthy relationships, responsibility and accountability. Our goal is to nurture the pursuit of excellence in our children in all areas of their lives.
