Now, you must have figured out or will soon enough; I’m not all about running. So I thought I would take an opportunity once a week to touch on some running and non-running articles, life style pieces and such.

It’s week 15! It’s been a decent week. I shared about my running struggle lately and how I’m working on it here. I decided to take Mother’s day off even though I’m a little behind in miles this week.  My girls and I went to my sister’s this weekend. It was nice to throw in a different running route. Weekly stats – 335.8/1000

My May personal challenge is in full swing. A 31 day squat, lunge and push-up plan. The plan starts with 10 each on day one. I’m up to 22 each day. Can I just say that’s a lot of lunges!! By the end of the plan you’ll be up to 40 each with a total of 420 reps over the month.

I’m taking a different kind of challenge this month also.  A gratitude challenge.  A challenge to list at least one thing you are grateful for each day.  On this Mother’s day, how cannot I not be grateful for my daughters? With all that life brings, they are one of the few constants.  With all the frustrations there is also joy. With all the fear there is also pride. More joy, more pride and a deep sense of love that for me that is hard to explain.

What are some things you are grateful for?  I’d love to hear from you in the comments below.
